High school sweethearts Haley & Lazar’s wedding day was a celebration ten years in the making. Having built their relationship through their formative years and into adulthood, they envisioned a wedding that would bring together their closest friends and family for more than just a single day of celebration. Predator Ridge, with its stunning accommodations and breathtaking views, offered the perfect setting for their extended celebration.

When Haley & Lazar approached White Orchid Weddings & Events ten months before their big day, they were feeling overwhelmed by the planning process. Serbian Traditions Meet Modern Elegance
The couple’s vision blended modern romance with meaningful Serbian traditions. Guests were welcomed with sprigs of rosemary to pin over their hearts during the ceremony—a beautiful Serbian custom symbolizing remembrance and loyalty. As well the priest incorporated crowns and a thurible filled with incense. This set the tone for a personal and touching day that honoured heritage while embracing contemporary style.
A Ceremony with a View
July in the Okanagan Valley delivered picture-perfect weather for their outdoor ceremony. Guests were guided through an entrance marked by elegant white pillars adorned with lush rose arrangements in their chosen palette of pale blue, blush, and champagne. The focal point—a stunning circular arch—framed the couple against Predator Ridge’s sweeping golf course views, creating a truly breathtaking moment as they exchanged their vows.
