One of my favorite venues for a wedding in the Okanagan has to be Sparkling Hill. The banquet room stands out on it’s own, and is oh so beautiful! But good food, great service and you and your guests can stay at the resort. Making it a fantastic and memorable weekend away for all!
I had a great time working with Kat & Stu planning their Okanagan Wedding. These two had a lot of personality, and wanted it to show in their celebration. Here are some of the ways they personalized their wedding: They had their two dogs as their ring bearers, who were very cute in their suits! We had stick on mustaches at the tables – as soon as guests sat down, the laughing already started! Stu & Kat asked two friends to hold the task of Emcee. Dressing up as 2 Scotsmen and then quick-changed to the Madhatter and the Hare. I haven’t been to a more hilarious reception!
Kat chose pearl whites, turquoise and coral as her colors, perfect for Okanagan summer time. We got creative with the menus for the dinner reception, we had them molded out of Callebaut Chocolate rather than just printed on paper. A really unique touch! Beautiful flowers placed atop sparkling chandelier vases really bring the whole decor together perfectly. Finally, adding in dramatic lighting – is how you can change the feel of the room.
